Man, I love my job!
Ruth and Peter’s wedding at Inglewood Manor was just a peach – a beautiful bride with eight crazy bridesmaids, a gorgeous little flower girl and a venue of the calibre of Inglewood Manor meant I was onto a good thing from the start. Couple this with the hot, hot, hot weather we had on that day – after days of rain – and everything was sure to come together just fine. Which, of course, it did… This was my first shoot at this well-renowned venue. Inglewood Manor is a true all-rounder amongst Wirral wedding venues. Although it didn’t rain on Ruth and Peter’s parade, it wouldn’t have mattered if it did, as the interior of Inglewood Manor is as fabulous as its exterior, and that’s saying something as the gardens are beautiful. There’s much to made use of, including three ponds, an ivy covered colonnade and an oak front door to die for. I fell in love with it as first sight and have enjoyed every wedding shoot I’ve done there since. But I’ll never forget turning up an hour before the ceremony at Ruth’s house for the bridal preparation photos…. only to discover that they were all completely ready to go! I still giggle about this years later!
