Knowsley Hall defines the phrase, “Exceptional Wedding Venue”.
The seat of the Earl of Derby, it’s not open to the public in the way of a National Trust property (where, ironically, you often can’t get married!) but the Earl is forward-thinking enough to make his incredible house available as a wedding venue. There’s simply nowhere else like it in the North West of England. From the jaw-dropping Van Dyke paintings in the banqueting hall to the beautifully well-kept gardens, no part of it either ceases to amaze or denies the photographer an amazing opportunity for stunning photos. I could shoot there every weekend and never get bored. Anyway. Enough waxing lyrical about the venue, here’s some photos from Helen & David’s fabulous October wedding.
