I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I love my job!

I get such a kick out of meeting new people all the time that there’s little doubt that wedding photography is my perfect career. Add to that the thrill of shooting at fabulous venues for the first time and you can understand why I’m so giddy about being a wedding photographer in Cheshire and Liverpool. Anyway – Andrea and David. They got married in August at the lovely Lowton St Mary’s Church, where Andrea’s family have been attending throughout her life. They then took us to the wonderful Colshaw Hall in Cheshire – the family home of the Irlam logistics company. (You’ve probably seen their lorries up and down the M6!) Andrea and David had laid on a live singer to keep their guests entertained during the day, along with a live band for the evening. This really helped keep the day feeling special throughout. Whilst Andrea and David performed their first dance to a favourite track laid on by their DJ, I have to say that I’m a huge fan of couples doing their first dance to a live band or singer – you just can’t beat it for romance. I was delighted to find some paintings in Colshaw Hall by my good friend Pete Chapple – you can see more of his work here: And now, here’s some more of mine! Unfortunately, we couldn’t make use of all of the gorgeous gardens and grounds as the weather turned against us, but I’d a feeling this was going to happen so made sure we got some photos outside at Colshaw Hall when we had the opportunity. I’m very glad we did! However, Colshaw Hall is a very good choice if you’re concerned about the weather as the interior, particularly the Orangery, is very fine and allows for some lovely couple shots.
