Man alive, have I been busy since my last post. Since Carla and Andy’s wedding, I have photographed 11 weddings in and around Liverpool, including one very manic fortnight where I managed 6 weddings in 9 days. Never again… The last few weeks have felt like a never ending pile of post-production and album design as a result, but I’m nearly there!
I’m going to attempt to catch up to the present with these posts, so this is the first of many over the next couple of days, so I hope you will come back to see more! This post showcases some of Eleanor and Stephen’s wonderful wedding at Inglewood Manor on Wirral. I’ve shot there 4 times this year and have loved every shoot. This was a strange year of coincidences for me – bizarrely, I shot two weddings at exactly the same locations with 2 brides who went to the same church as kids. This one was the first – Eleanor and Stephen got married at Heswall United Reformed Church and then went on to Inglewood Manor – which is precisely what Sarah and Iain did a couple of months later (Their photos can be viewed here). It’s a great venue with wonderful photographic opportunities everywhere you look. Here’s my favourites from their wedding on the 29th August, the first of three on the trot that weekend… On this shoot I was ably assisted by the excellent young photographer, Camila. It’s always great to have her on a shoot as she’s an accomplished photographer in her own right, but also ‘bag-drags’ with the best of them. Thanks again, Cam! Some of the shots below are hers.
