Amy & Adam got married in December on a cold, wet and windy day.

I know what you’re thinking – this is Liverpool – what did they expect the weather to be like in December? My point is, that Liverpool being what it is, there’s no shortage of opportunities to get amazing wedding photos without ever actually setting foot outdoors. Not every wedding venue has this luxury, but two of them do, and they are the Town Hall and the Racquet Club. Both are exquisite in their interior architecture and design, and are able to provide the kind of environment that many couples dream of for their wedding photos. Include in this heady mixture a couple as lovely and straightforward as Amy and Adam and you have a recipe for excellence. Now, we did venture out on foot briefly, umbrellas in hand, on the short journey between the two venues. We visited Sweeting Street, which is one of my favourite Liverpool city centre locations, and then on to the Racquet Club. A fabulous time was had by all – a highlight was the successful wedding proposal made by a guest to his girlfriend when she’d caught the bouquet. One wonders what would’ve happened if she hadn’t caught it, but who knows…

Dan, thank you for capturing so many special moments of our day! You were with us all the way from the nerves at the beginning of the day until the drinking and dancing late into the evening. Your style of photography really made the best of the venues (and the rainy weather!) and now we have a wonderful album full of fantastic memories that we will treasure for years to come.
