Laura & Mark at Leasowe Castle

I love shooting the weddings of deliriously happy couples and these two were no exception. Rarely have I seen a bride and groom enjoy their day more than Mark and Laura – the supply of smiles and laughter seemed endless. Both the families get on famously well, so even the guests were beside themselves with bonhomie. Leasowe Castle is a great venue, with plenty of indoor nooks and crannies to get lovely photos in. It’s situated just next to a golf course, with wonderful open vistas and unkempt meadow-like rough, so that if the weather behaves itself, as it did this time, you can get smashing outdoor images too. You may have noticed throughout my site that I have a bit of a thing for summer meadows. Maybe it’s my country boy heritage, but there’s just something about a couple walking through long grass that really gets my wedding photography mojo going. I think these photos show how much fun Laura and Mark had on their big day – it certainly made my job a lot easier! Look closely in the photos and you might spot two other wedding couples whose weddings I photographed too: James and Rachel (Mark’s sister) and Joe and Sarah (click on their names to see their weddings)

Dan has an amazing talent for capturing those special moments throughout one of the biggest days of your life. His breathtaking photographs are natural and tell a wonderful story of how the day unfolded. Dan’s ability not to miss a moment is incredible, and his energy and passion comes across in the photos. He also makes you feel at ease on the day. Dan provides a personal touch and exceptional service; we thoroughly enjoyed having him as our photographer and could not recommend him more.
