Halfway through the wedding photography year already?

Sure, it’s been a long while since my last post about what has become the best job I’ve ever done: wedding photography in Liverpool. It dawned on me just the other day, as I returned from a shoot somewhere in this wonderful city. “I love my job!” I exclaimed to my wife. This was significant as I don’t think I’ve ever said that before in my life – and I’ve been working as various things since 1988!

Anyway, let’s have a look at what I’ve been up to of late. This year is already giving us better weather than last – I still shudder when I think of just how truly dreadful the weather was in 2012. By the time it got to September, I’d almost forgotten what it was like to take wedding photos out of doors. A dark, depressing time… but summer’s here now, so enough moping!

February wedding!

It has to be said – this is becoming my favourite venue for wedding photography in Liverpool. It oozes charm and sophistication which, at the right time of year, is coupled with gorgeous evening light streaming in through the glass walls and ceiling. It’s a wonderful place on its own, but since it’s also next door to the recently refurbished Stanley Park, you get even more opportunities for lovely photos. What’s not to like? We had stunning weather and so much fun!
