First time photographing weddings at the Maritime Museum

I’ve probably said this before, but man, I love my job!

Hannah and Dan’s wedding was just plain fun, from start to finish. I got to shoot at a new venue for me, the lovely Maritime Museum in Liverpool’s Albert Dock. Unusual, quirky but genuinely fab and in the best part of town too – the old Docks. It’s surrounded by cobbled streets and fabulous old heavy ironworks, dating back to Liverpool’s heyday as the gateway to the Atlantic Ocean and the New World. I was very pleased to be asked by the Museum to provide some photos for their website and brochure – there’s almost no higher praise for your work when the venue want to use your pictures for their own self-promotion. We even got to go on a boat in the dock (it’s amazing what you can do if you ask nicely 😉 ). For their wedding cars, there were three fantastic Austin 7s – all original. To top it all off, I’ve bumped into this lovely couple again at a wedding of their friends’. Take a look at these pics and if you’re thinking of getting married at one of Liverpool’s stunning museums go ahead and fill in my contact form!
