Wow, what a weekend that was! Over two thousand shots, and well over 400 miles. Phew! Both shoots went superbly, and as soon as I’ve time, I will pop some shots up here. They’re worth the wait, believe me. Well, I would say that, wouldn’t I?

It’s not what you know…
… it’s who you know!
I’ve just done my first shoot at the Liverpool Marina. Very nice location – if you can get down to the boats. A quick phone call to the Marina office established that this wasn’t going to happen; “Don’t think your bride will look much good in a life-preserver-jacket.” Fair enough – Health & Safety strikes again. So I had to scrub this from my list of potential sites for the couple’s shots.
But all was not lost – turned out that a bridesmaid’s aunt lived on a boat – in the marina. And there she was, at the Marina Bar & Grill, and only too willing to help. So we did get down amongst the boats. Unfortunately, Auntie’s boat had just been relacquered, so we couldn’t get aboard, so I thought we would be limited to the jetty. Not too bad though?
And then a voice rang out over the water, “Do you want to have your photos on my boat?” OH YES PLEASE!
And here they are. Hope you enjoyed your day on the water as much as I did, Steph and Joe!

Chris and Chantelle – what a great day!
Just completed the post-production on the images from Chris & Chantelle’s wedding – lots of friends and fun! Nice to see St George’s Hall in the sunlight for once.
My first elopement!
We all know how weddings normally go – the loving couple get engaged with the blessings of the respective parents (well, mostly) and then the venues are chosen, the date selected, the photographer (me, hopefully!) is booked and the invites to friends and family are despatched. Well, that’s your normal wedding. Naomi and Christopher didn’t want ‘normal’, they wanted unique. And we were very pleased to be asked to record their unusual day!
Out and about in Runcorn
We’re shooting in Runcorn on 11/6/11, and to quote the groom: “There’s not any where that looks nice in Runcorn”. Well, we beg to differ and we’re very excited about the spots that we’ve found to take the couple shots. Sometimes useful features appear in the most unlikely of places. We’ll post some images when we’ve got them in the can.
